The Art of Country Style Decor
Country Style Decor is still a very popular decor style in the Northwest. Romance is toned down from the French Country Decor Style of decorating to a more natural look. Flooring is mostly hardwood with wider planks used a lot. Curtain hardware is mainly from woods to twigs and branches, although wrought iron is strong. Fabrics consist of checks, solids and stripes in the above mentioned decorating colors. Bedding is mainly quilts with the look carried into "rag" rugs.
