This kitchen, on the left, was one in Jessica Klein's own home she helped build. It featured imported tile from Italy, with custom made cabinets galore, in alternate heights.
This was a kitchen in the Portland Oregon 2003 Street of Dreams.
Today, the popular trend in kitchen cabinets is to alternate the heights of the cabinets, leaving at least enough room to display vines, platters, water pitchers, etc. on top as shown below. Click on to our products page to find items to put above cabinets. Jessica has purchased many beautiful platters, water pitchers, etc. for this purpose. When doing a custom decorating job, Jessica found that most clients did not have items that could be displayed on top. You also need acrylic holders and risers to elevate the heights to get above the moldings also. (tabletop, foliage, risers) Nothing is worse than a builder putting in cabinets 6" from the top of the ceiling where absolutely nothing can be displayed then.
This kitchen featured cherry cabinets and cherry floors.
This is a nook kitchen table that we made chair coverings to match. On the right is a mural painted by our famous artist Cher Ultican in an alcove in the kitchen.
This tile features a stone 4x4 on the backsplash on the diagonals with granite squares inserted to match the granite counters.
This is some gorgeous tile work done by Northwest Tile Design.
