WHAT'S NEW For 2008 IN COLOR AND DECORATING TRENDS
COLOR TRENDS
Blue Violet is the #1 color for 2008! Our showroom will feature lots of different blues to accomodate your decorating needs. We have a phenomenal sofa comin inshowing blueberry mixed w/cinnamon and charcoal. uncommon materials are mixed also making it very "sassy". Jazzy blue's from cobalt to sky to enhance the exotic woods will all show in this years furniture.
Metallics are hot!! Gilded golds are making a real comeback. We will be adding these in our furniture selections and upholstered goods, window treatments and custom covered chairs. Linens and bedding will also be shown in a truly spectacular setting. These will be a must to see.
Oranges, yellows, chartreuse and lime will dictate a lot of the summer decor. Beginning in August these colors will dominate our showroom.
Black and White are very strong again this year. We have a new sofa coming in mixing charcoal piping with a white embroidered sofa. It is outstanding. We will have matching chairs also.
DECORATING TRENDS
With the baby boomers retiring, second homes are being added and the majority of them are homes where they can capture their retirement dreams of homes near the water that will recreate serenity and relaxation.
The COASTAL look in Home decorating is the strongest of the decorating lifestyles. People are striving for relaxing ambiance in their homes, whether it be a bathroom, the recreation room, bedroom or other. They want to creat a feeling of a "beach home, or vacation" they have enjoyed. They are looking for a casual, comfortable atmosphere to create in their homes. COASTAL is not a theme for decorating, it is more of a "way of life". To decorate and include this in any room of your home, you need to be a little more eclectic and branch out of the "traditional modes" of decorating and include the EXTRAORDINARY!

The garden theme has new pots galore captured in our "lighted terrariums" making a truly unique statement for any room in your home.

Catalogs are now available for our customers to view and pick furniture and lighting from when they are searching for a piece that they do not see on display.
